EU, Luxembourg - Register of beneficial owners – Getting ready for 1 September 2019

The Luxembourg law of 13 January 2019 setting up a register of beneficial owners (the “RBE Law”) partially implements directives (EU) 2015/849 and 2018/843 on anti-money laundering (commonly referred to as "AMLD IV" and "AMLD V"). As a result, in-scope entities will have to comply with a number of new obligations by the end of the transitory period contained in the RBE Law (ie 31 August 2019).
