France - French Government to adapt corporate law during Covid-19

As announced last Monday by the French President, the Government has tabled  to the Parliament a draft law to authorize the adoption by way of governmental order (ordonnance) of various exceptional temporary measures to address the emergency situation resulting from the Covid-19 outbreak and the lockdown imposed to limit its expansion. Among a wide range of measures in various areas of law, the proposal includes changes relating to the adaptation and simplification of certain rules of corporate law.
