New Czech Council Presidency further refines EU MiFID Review proposals

Ahead of the first meeting on the MiFID Review to be led by the new Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU on 12 September, we have seen a number of interesting papers indicating new refinements. The European Commission has also provided the Council with its analysis of the UK Financial Services and Markets Bill (FSMB), indicating which changes to the UK MiFID regime are considered to potentially give UK markets a competitive edge over EU ones.
