UK MiFID II: FCA finalises approach to UK bond CTP and consults on CTP payments to data providers

The FCA has published a consultation paper (CP23/33) which sets out the final rules for the framework for the UK consolidated tape provider (CTP) for bonds. The FCA is also consulting on how firms that contribute data to the bond CTP may be compensated for the cost of connecting to the CTP. The consultation closes on 9 February 2024, reflecting the fact that the FCA wants to finalise relevant rules by 5 April 2024.
