UK – Companies House hits the pause button on strike-offs

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Companies House has temporarily paused the strike-off process to prevent companies being dissolved. It will also treat late filing penalty appeals sympathetically where the late delivery was as a result of COVID-19. These policy changes are temporary and will be reviewed and amended as necessary in accordance with the developing COVID-19 situation.
