The Italian Crisis and Insolvency Code enters into force

On 16 June 2002 the Italian Government approved the Legislative Decree No 83 17 June 2022 introducing certain amendments to the Italian crisis and insolvency code enacted with the Legislative Decree of 12 January 2019, No. 14 (the “Code”), implementing the directive (EU) 2019/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council of 20 June 2019 on preventive restructuring frameworks, on discharge of debt and disqualifications, and on measures to increase the efficiency of procedures concerning restructuring, insolvency and discharge of debt.
