With continuing legislative and regulatory activity across APAC this month, AI remains a focus in Thailand (proposals targeting high risk AI systems), China (new national standards for generative AI) and Singapore (consulting on AI testing). Cybersecurity and financial services have also featured with new obligations and regimes being introduced in the UAE, Vietnam, Thailand and Australia.
